In this short and practical class, you’ll learn how to create your own color palettes from scratch and apply them to a real layout in Figma.
We’ll cover:
- How to use tools like Adobe Color to build palettes based on color harmonies. - How to generate tints and shades from a single brand or primary color using Figma’s HSL color mode. - How to speed things up with dedicated tint/shade generators. - How to apply your finished palette to a real layout so you can see it in action.
By the end, you’ll know exactly how to go from a blank canvas to a complete, balanced color scheme — and how to make that scheme work in a real design.
