About this course
Noble Desktop's UX & UI Design Certificate is a career programme rather than a class: 144 hours of live, project-based teaching that takes someone with no design background to a portfolio they can show an employer.
The first half is user experience. Research comes before pixels — interviewing users, analysing what they said, and turning that into something testable. Clickable prototypes are built in Figma and put in front of real people, and what comes back changes the design rather than validating it.
The second half is user interface and the work of getting hired. Visual design, then the case studies that explain a project to someone who was not there, then a portfolio website and a resume. Eight one-on-one mentoring sessions sit outside class time and are spent on that last part.
It is taught in the Manhattan classroom or live online, on a fixed schedule, and a proprietary workbook and software access are included.

Requirements
- No prior design experience. The programme starts from first principles.
- A computer able to run Figma, and the time for a fixed class schedule.
