Generative AI
A paid course from Noble Desktop.
Two hundred and eighty-two hours of UX and UI practice, with a running argument about where AI belongs in it.
The research half uses AI where it is genuinely faster — synthesising interview notes, finding themes across a pile of transcripts, drafting personas, journey maps and user flows. The discipline taught alongside is knowing that a theme an AI surfaced is a hypothesis, not a finding, and treating it accordingly.
The interface half applies prompting to UI ideation, design critique and UX writing, and uses AI to review designs for clarity, consistency, accessibility and usability problems a designer stops seeing in their own work. Usability test observations are turned into prioritised recommendations.
Responsible practice runs throughout: human judgement, evidence-based decisions, and ethical standards that survive a tool that will confidently produce whatever it is asked for. Ten one-on-one mentoring sessions sit outside class time.
